Our wireless temperature sensors may be small (about the size of a matchbox), but they're also powerful. By placing these small sensors around your house, Emme Core can build a more accurate Advanced Thermal Model, increasing efficiency and comfort. Because they are small and wireless you can put them just about anywhere.

Most thermostats are placed in a central location, such as a hallway. Unfortunately, you don't spend much time in your hallway. Wouldn't you rather be comfortable in your family room, kitchen, bedroom or office? Wouldn't it be great to move the thermostat to where you spend most of your time? SmartSensors allow you to do just that. You can even schedule which SmartSensor you want to use at what time. In the morning you can use the SmartSensor in your kitchen and in the evening you can use the one in your family room. With Emme SmartSensors you can finally be comfortable where you spend most of your time.
Too Hot Upstairs and Too Cold Downstairs? SmartCirculation to the Rescue!
SmartCirculation is just one of many innovative features Emme Core offers. SmartCirculation intelligently balances temperatures in your home without actively heating or cooling. It does this by determining if there is a significant temperature difference in your house. If a difference is detected, it uses a fan speed that is higher than what is usually available during normal circulation to mix the air. The key is determining when there is a temperature difference. A base Emme Core can use weather as a good predictor, but using the information from multiple SmartSensors is much more effective. Place one SmartSensor upstairs and another downstairs and let Emme Core do the rest, increasing your comfort without costly heating or cooling.

By Monitoring the Conditions Inside Your Heating and Cooling System, Emme Core Can Alert You to a Pending Failure
Our optional HVAC Equipment Monitor can alert you to a potential failure before it happens. In the future, alerts will be able to be sent directly to your designated service provider who can fix your system before it impacts your comfort. Avoid the hassle of waking up at 2AM to a cold house and a broken furnace.
Wireless Outdoor Temperature Sensor
Get an Accurate Outdoor Temperature Reading Without Running Wires
Emme Core receives local weather information from the internet, but sometimes a more accurate outdoor temperature reading is required. For instance, when Emme Core is controlling heat pump stage transitions, it's better to rely on a local source for the outside temperature. Like all Emme accessories, it's easy to setup and integrates seamlessly with Emme Core, automatically displaying the outside temperature on the Main screen.

While Emme Core has the built-in ability to receive information from SmartSensors, there are instances where better reception is needed. In particular, large homes or homes with a lot of metal in their construction may impede transmission to the point that the small receiver in Emme Core is incapable of getting a consistent reading. Our Wireless Receiver will ensure that your Emme Core is getting crystal clear reception from all of your SmartSensors, no matter how far away they are.
